Georgia Tech Brand and Theme Policy

As of last year, now an official policy (see the Georgia Tech Policy Library)

  • Key Points:

    • Units may not create their own logos or alter the official institute logos.

    • Academic units may not use athletic spirit marks (Buzz, interlocked GT, stacked GEORGIA TECH, Ramblin Wreck, etc.)

    • Units cannot feature slogans prominently unless they are phrased as "Creating the next ..."

  • Also, new restrictions on domain names (*.gatech.edu, *.net. *.org, *.com)
