Do "dress rehearsals": stand with your notebook in front of you and pretend you have an audience
Say everything you plan to say, and speak everything aloud: you'll catch stuff you'd never notice otherwise
If you're repeatedly stumbling over something, think about rephrasing it
Make sure you're not running over your time (strive for 15 minutes less than your time slot, to leave time for Q&A and overrun)
Don't worry about memorizing verbatim – just try to memorize the core concepts in order, to minimize dependence on your notes
Rehearse for someone in your profession ask for feedback
Don't over-rehearse: it doesn't help to be sick of your own presentation by the time you get to the conference!
